Above the gulf, ten minutes from Saint-Tropez and in another tempo entirely.
Gassin offers what the peninsula otherwise lacks: quiet, with the view and the proximity kept. Its properties are often large, in vineyards or pine woods, lived in by families who come for several weeks.
That changes the work. Less of the party, more of the household: a chef for the family, a housekeeper, sometimes a caretaker for the rest of the year. Searches here resemble the hinterland more than the seafront.
Availability is a little better than at Saint-Tropez, but only a little: the same people serve the whole peninsula.
