Property management

Run your property

A house that runs needs someone to hold it: recruiting the staff, coordinating them, and answering when something comes up. It is the natural extension of placement.

Recruiting is not always enough

Finding the right person is one thing. Keeping them working well over time, alongside the other staff, at the owner’s rhythm, is another. Many properties run badly not for want of staff but for want of someone to lead them.

Property management answers that. It takes on the recruitment and placement work described on the year-round staff page, and adds what comes after: the daily organisation, the coordination of the team and the upkeep of the house, whether the owner is there or not.

The scope is set house by house, with Guillaume, according to the size of the property, the staff already in place and the time you would rather not spend on it.

Three strands

From recruitment to contract

  • Recruitment

The same approach as a year-round post: understand the house before searching, present people who fit, support the first weeks.

  • Supervision

What placement alone does not cover. Who does what, at what rhythm, and who the staff turn to when a question arises. This is what stops a good hire coming apart after a few months.

  • Holding the contract

When a house is placed under management, the staff can be employed directly by the company, which then holds the employment contract. Terms are set with Guillaume according to your situation.

How it works

Taking a house under management

  1. 01

    Visit and assessment

The property, how it is organised today, the staff already employed and how the house is occupied through the year.

  2. 02

    Setting the scope

What is handed over and what stays with you, post by post. This is written down before anything starts, so no grey area remains.

  3. 03

    Putting the team in place

Recruiting the missing posts, settling roles with the staff already there, and agreeing the contractual arrangement.

  4. 04

    Keeping it running

The house runs, and you have one person to speak to about all of it.

Common questions

Property management in practice

01How does this differ from year-round placement?

Placement ends when the person starts: we find them and support their arrival. Management carries on, with the supervision of the team and the daily upkeep of the house.

02Can you employ the staff on our behalf?

When a house is under our management, yes: the staff can be employed under the company’s contract. Outside that arrangement the owner remains the employer. Terms are agreed directly with Guillaume.

03Do you step in where staff are already employed?

Yes, and that is the most common case. It means structuring an existing team rather than building one, which calls for understanding the current arrangement before changing anything.

04Does the property have to be occupied all year?

No. Houses occupied intermittently are in fact where management earns its keep: the house has to be ready on arrival and held while you are away.

05Do you work outside the French Riviera?

The French Riviera remains the main territory, but we work throughout France and internationally.
