The large estates of Cap Martin, two minutes from Monaco and in an entirely different quiet.
Cap Martin holds substantial properties, often old, in a pine wood that largely hides them from the road. It is among the most discreet pockets of the department, and its residents intend to keep it that way.
Monaco next door cuts both ways. It makes recruiting easier, because many service professionals work between the two. It complicates event weeks in the Principality, when everyone is taken at once.
The perched village is another matter: lanes, steps, restricted vehicle access. Work there is possible but needs a look beforehand, as in Èze or old Villefranche.
