Private chef in Valbonne
The hinterland that lives all year, not the coast that lives in summer. The requests have little in common.
Valbonne is one of the few communes here where the clientele is mostly resident. Sophia Antipolis brought in international families who live here throughout the year, with children at school locally and a daily life to organise.
The consequence is clear: people look less for a chef for a week than for an arrangement that lasts. Someone who comes twice a week, knows the household’s diets, knows what the children actually eat, and works with whoever keeps the house.
Country houses, not seafront villas
The bastides and mas around Valbonne have summer kitchens, long tables, sometimes a vegetable garden. Good conditions for a chef, provided they enjoy cooking with what is growing rather than with what they ordered.
For year-round searches the language question comes up every time: many of these households run in English at home. That is a selection criterion, not a detail.
