Private chef in Beaulieu-sur-Mer

Sheltered, flat, lived in all year. Three rare things on this coast, and they change the work.

Beaulieu owes its nickname, Petite Afrique, to a microclimate that gives it mild winters and almost hothouse planting. This is not picture-postcard material: houses here live outdoors for much of the year, and terrace dinners are not reserved for July.

The commune is also one of the few that is flat. After Villefranche and Èze, that is a logistical relief: you park, you unload, you walk in. Work is simpler to organise here, and therefore easier to confirm at short notice.

The share of year-round residents is high. A fair part of the demand is for a regular chef or a housekeeper in post rather than a week of holiday cover.
